Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
The only information we collect is your name, your email address and your progress, scores and usage of our games. We never collect your date of birth, your address or location of any kind (unless you win a competition that requires us to send you a physical prize!) or any credit/debit card information. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. You can register on our websites if you would like to receive our newsletter(s) as well as updates on our new products and services. We promise not to share your email address with any other company. To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by calling us or sending us an email. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information. You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office, and abide by the UK Data Protection Act.
Tracking and Analytics
IP addresses, URLs visited, and related information is recorded for all site visitors for the purpose of site traffic analytics and captured as part of normal operation in our server logs. Cookies are used to track logins, sessions, and collect anonymous traffic data. You have the options to enable or disable cookies for this site when you first visit it.
Our third party partners, and their privacy policies are as follows:
Google Analytics: http://www.google.com.au/analytics/learn/privacy.html
Game Analytics: http://www.gameanalytics.com/privacy.html
Like many online and mobile games, we gather limited amounts of data to help us work out what players are doing, which parts of our games players use and enjoy the most, and to store the level/progress information of players. Some of our online games use Google Analytics. Our ‘Pubplay’ mobile game uses Flurry, which collects, uses, shares and stores data about players. If you want to opt out of Flurry services, you can do so by visiting this URL: http://www.flurry.com/user-opt-out.html. Inside our PlayStation Home spaces, we store your progress on our database; this has no personal information other than your PSN ID, and records your scores/levels in our games so you can level up, get rewards for achieving certain scores and so on. We also record how many times players visit spaces, so we can learn which spaces are popular and which aren’t. By using our games, you consent to us using these analytic tools.
