Lead Creative - Publishing (Hybrid)



We are nDreams, one of the world’s leading publisher/developers focused on VR games. As our portfolio of titles expands, we are on the search for an experienced and collaborative Lead Creative within our publishing team. The successful applicant will lead the creative development process for marketing assets, both through hands-on execution and mentoring our talented team of creatives. Creative Development

  • Deliver standout, effective marketing materials through a mix of hands-on development and creative team collaboration.
  • Oversee the creative development process for internally developed marketing assets.
  • Run effective ideation and concept development that successfully aligns to the brief, alongside brand, creative and commercial goals.
  • Evangelise broad exploration, rapid iteration and transparent, continual input with both the team and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Manager and Brand Manager to ensure projects are scoped and prioritised in line with deadlines, resource priorities, and commercial impact.

Creative Leadership

  • Mentor, lead and empower our internal creatives, both directly on projects, and as part of the appraisal and development process.
  • Creative evangelist – positively and constructively critique internally developed creative assets.
  • Work alongside the brand managers to define and evolve product brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors and outsourcers to ensure externally developed materials align to internal standards.
  • Feed into externally developed creative, supporting the brand managers and creative agencies to achieve standout brand materials.


  • Experienced creative lead – we’d expect 5-10+ years professional experience, with multiple years in a lead position.
  • Extensive hands-on creative experience in a relevant discipline – graphic design/illustration/key artist/marketing artist.
  • Broad marketing/advertising professional experience, including within a video game publisher/developer, or within a creative agency working on games/entertainment/technology or similar.
  • Portfolio should showcase:
    • Breadth within exploration, as well as final campaign and asset creative.
    • An expert understanding of creative principles.
    • An ability to deliver effectively against multi-faceted briefs.
  • Expert in Adobe Suite, in particular Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Understanding of game engines – e.g. Unreal/Unity – would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable going between hands-on execution and team mentorship and leading.
  • Experience mentoring, leading and developing creative team members of multiple disciplines and experience levels.
  • Experience collaborating with individuals and teams of different backgrounds, seniorities, and viewpoints. Ability to lead diverse teams towards challenging, shared goals.
  • Comfortable going between team management and hands-on execution.
  • Inquisitive and thrive on feedback, with excellent creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate creative positively, whilst balancing creative and commercial goals.

Salary is competitive and dependent on your experience.
