Video Editor (Hybrid)

We are looking for Video Editor within our Creative team to create amazing and impactful marketing assets, across both nDreams’ own titles and those of our sister publisher Megabit. This includes trailers, social media campaigns, gameplay capture, walkthroughs, video podcasts and advertising.
The rundown:
- 6 month fixed term contract
- Full time (37.5 hours per week)
- Hybrid
- Salary is competitive and dependent on experience
Key responsibilities:
- Working with gameplay capture to create engaging trailers and short form video content.
- Working alongside our marketing team on videogame campaign assets.
- Capturing gameplay footage to use in promotional videos such as gameplay walkthroughs.
- Adapting existing trailers into multiple formats, aspect ratios and languages.
Requirements
The skills you’ll need:
- Experienced Adobe Premiere Pro video editor.
- Confident ability to create supporting motion graphics in After Effects.
- A demonstrable understanding of the specific challenges in designing for multiple social media platforms and digital marketplaces.
- Great organisational skills.
- File naming and storage best-practices.
- Able to work efficiently across multiple projects.
- An ability to work to deadlines.
Your experience:
- A genuine interest in videogames and their surrounding culture. Our job is to connect with gamers and excite them about our portfolio.
- Proven professional experience in a similar video-focussed marketing role and working with stakeholders.
- A strong showreel showcasing previous marketing work.
- An adaptability when being presented with insights and a willingness to flex where required.
- A calm and clear communicator who will listen to guidance from the surrounding team while also being able to present your own work confidently.
- A person who enjoys the energy of a smaller environment where each person has their own responsibilities but understands the strength of collaboration.
