Frenzies Refund Request - Privacy Notice

Who is responsible for your data?

The controller for this refund process is nDreams Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 04362105). nDreams is the publisher of Frenzies and is responsible for determining how and why your personal data is processed in connection with this refund.
The refund request is managed operationally by Megabit Publishing (Aonic UK Ltd), and the refund payment is executed by nDreams. Both operate within the same corporate group and process your data under nDreams' direction.

What personal data do we collect

When you submit a refund request through this form, we collect the following personal data:
•    Your full name
•    Your Google account name and email address (recorded automatically by Google when you sign in to submit the form)
•    The refund amount and transaction currency
•    Proof of purchase (a screenshot or receipt of your transaction showing the date, item, and value)
•    Your bank account details (sort code and account number for UK accounts; IBAN and BIC for overseas accounts)

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We collect this data to verify your purchase and process your refund following the closure of Frenzies. Our legal basis for this processing is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR / EU GDPR) - specifically, our interest in resolving potential claims arising from the early shutdown of the game by offering refunds to affected players. We have assessed that this processing is necessary and proportionate, and does not override your rights and freedoms.

Who we share your data with

Your data is shared with the following parties, and no others:
•    nDreams Ltd - who processes refund payments on our behalf, under a data processing agreement
•    Google, who host the refund request form on our behalf, under a data processing agreement
How long we keep your data
We retain your personal data for the duration of the 180-day refund claim window, plus 90 days following the closure of that window to allow for reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding queries. After this period, all data collected through this process, including form submissions, spreadsheets, and uploaded files, is permanently deleted.

Under data protection law, you have the right to:
•    Request access to the personal data we hold about you
•    Request correction of any inaccurate data
•    Request deletion of your personal data
•    Object to our processing of your personal data

To exercise any of these rights, please contact: data@ndreams.com
