WRECKIN' RACCOON
Privacy Notice
Version 2
Date of Issue: 18th of August, 2026
About This Notice
We are NDREAMS LIMITED, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales (registration number 04362105) with our registered address at Spectrum Point, 279 Farnborough Road, Farnborough, Hampshire GU14 7LS, United Kingdom. We are a virtual reality games developer and publisher.
This notice explains how we collect and process personal data relating to users of Wreckin' Raccoon (“the Game”) and any services we provide in connection with the Game (“the Services”). When we decide how and why your personal data is processed, we act as the data controller.
Wreckin' Raccoon is developed by nDreams and published on the Meta Horizon platform.
If you have any questions about this notice or your personal data, contact us at data@ndreams.com or support@ndreams.com.
This notice covers only the Game and the Services. Where the Game links to services not operated by us, including the Meta Horizon platform and store, please refer to their own privacy notices.
This version replaces Version 1, issued on 1 September 2025. It sets out the Meta platform features the Game uses, and reflects the fact that our gameplay analytics service has since been discontinued.
What Data We Collect and Why
Wreckin' Raccoon is a single-player game. It has no multiplayer features, no user-generated content, and does not require you to create an account with us. The data we process falls into the categories set out below.
Meta Horizon Platform Features
Legal basis: performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in applying appropriate settings for younger players
Certain Meta platform features, when enabled, automatically process data of users and their devices. The Game processes the following data to facilitate the operation of specific Meta platform features and associated services. This data is used at the moment it is received and is not stored by us:
We do not use data received through Meta platform features for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not combine it with data obtained from any other source. We do not collect or store your Meta username, email address, profile picture, or any other information from your Meta profile on our systems.
Meta also processes data about you in its own right, as operator of the Meta Horizon platform and store. For information about how Meta processes your data, please refer to Meta’s own privacy policy.
Gameplay Analytics
Legal basis: consent
When you first launch the Game, you are asked whether you agree to gameplay analytics. This is entirely optional: the Game works exactly the same if you decline. You can change your choice at any time from the in-game settings menu. Players accessing the Game via a Meta child account are opted out automatically and are not asked.
Where analytics were enabled, the data collected included:
This data was used solely to help us improve, test and monitor the quality and delivery of the Game and the Services. It was never used for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not collect any special categories of personal data.
We have discontinued our gameplay analytics service. The systems that received and stored gameplay analytics data have been decommissioned, and the gameplay analytics data previously collected has been deleted. We no longer receive, store or use any gameplay analytics data from the Game. The analytics consent prompt and the in-game analytics setting remain present in the currently released version of the Game and will be removed in a future update.
We and our publishing partner retain only high-level aggregated statistics about the Game, such as daily, weekly and monthly player counts, average session lengths and retention rates. This information does not identify any individual player, device or account, and cannot be linked back to you.
Player Support
Legal basis: performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in supporting our players
If you contact our support team, we process your name or user identifier, your email address, and the content of your enquiry, so that we can respond to you and resolve the issue.
Competitions and Prize Draws
Legal basis: performance of our obligations to you under the competition terms
If you enter a competition or prize draw, we process your social media handle or account name in order to run the competition. If you win, we process your name, email address, postal address and telephone number in order to contact you and deliver your prize.
News and Updates
Legal basis: consent
If you ask to receive news and updates about the Game, we process your name and email address in order to send them to you. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message we send, or by emailing data@ndreams.com.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this notice. The following retention periods apply:
In some cases, we may need to retain data for longer where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If we do, we will keep it secure and continue to respect your rights where possible.
Who We Share Your Data With
We share your data only where necessary and only with the following recipients:
Our data processing agreements with service providers require them to process your data only on our instructions and to maintain appropriate security measures. They are prohibited from using your data for their own marketing.
nDreams does not sell your personal data to third parties.
International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where we transfer personal data to a country that does not provide an equivalent level of protection, we put appropriate safeguards in place as required by law, including the standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authorities, together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable.
For more details about international data transfers, including a copy of the relevant clauses, contact us at data@ndreams.com.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Game does not use cookies. There are no advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or similar technologies integrated into the Game.
Withdrawing Consent and Deleting Your Data
You can withdraw your consent to gameplay analytics at any time from the in-game settings menu.
You can request deletion of your personal data at any time, free of charge, regardless of where you are located, by emailing data@ndreams.com or support@ndreams.com. Please tell us which game you are contacting us about so that we can locate your data. We will act on your request within 30 days.
Please note that the gameplay analytics data previously collected has already been deleted, and that it was in any case stored only under a randomly generated identifier - we cannot find it from your name or email address alone. If we cannot link your request to any stored data, we will tell you and explain what options are available to you.
Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws. These include the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us using the contact details in the “How to Contact Us” section below. We will respond within 30 days. If we need more time, we will let you know within that period and explain why.
These rights are not absolute - in some circumstances, we may be unable to fulfil a request in full. If that happens, we will explain why.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU, find your supervisory authority via the European Data Protection Board (edpb.europa.eu).
Children's Privacy
Wreckin' Raccoon is distributed on the Meta Horizon platform, which sets its own minimum age requirements for account holders. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 without appropriate consent, and we do not market the Game to children.
Where the Meta Horizon platform indicates that a player is using a Meta child account (under 13), gameplay analytics are disabled automatically for that player and the analytics consent prompt is not shown.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data through the Game, please contact us at data@ndreams.com and we will take steps to delete the data promptly.
Additional Information for California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). The categories of personal information we collect are described in the “What Data We Collect and Why” section above.
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the Game.
Under California law, you have the right to:
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details in the “How to Contact Us” section. We will respond within 45 days, as required by California law.
