Meta’s Code of Conduct for Virtual Experiences (as updated from time to time) also applies to FRENZIES Early Access. Please familiarise yourself with its contents too.
How to mute or block a player
Select the Social tab on the Menu page to identify the players in the current session. Click on the player’s profile and 3 options will be presented: ‘Report’, ‘Block’ and ‘Mute’.
Muting a player will stop a player from hearing voice chat from a muted player.
Blocking a player will cease 2-way voice communication with the blocked player and, if there are enough players playing FRENZIES Early Access in your region, prevent matching with blocked players in matches.
How to report a player
Select the Social tab on the Menu page to list the players in the session. Click on the player’s profile and 3 options will be presented: ‘Report’, ‘Block’ and ‘Mute’. After clicking Report, 6 options will be presented:
- Bullying / Toxic behaviour / Harassment
- Inappropriate behaviour
- Offensive profile
- Verbal abuse / offensive language
- Cheating
- Other
Click the most relevant option after selecting ‘Report’.
Sanctions
If a player violates the Frenzies EA Code of Conduct, the type of sanction will depend on the severity of the violation, if a player is a repeat violator as well as other factors. The following sanctions may be issued:
- an in-game warning
- temporary loss of social features such as voice chat and hand gestures
- temporary or permanent ban from in-game content such as virtual items and virtual currency
- temporary or permanent ban from FRENZIES Early Access and the full launch of FRENZIES
If a player is permanently banned from FRENZIES EARLY ACCESS, they may lose access to and all rights to any virtual items and virtual currency associated with their account.
Do note that severe violations may require nDreams to pass information relating to violations onto law enforcement agencies and/or regulators.
Appealing a saction
If a player wishes to appeal a sanction, please send a detailed explanation on why a sanction should be overturned to and supporting evidence to frenzies.support@ndreams.com. nDreams, in its sole discretion, may refuse to overturn a sanction.
How to submit evidence and/or provide additional information
To submit photographic or video evidence and/or provide additional information of a player violating the Frenzies EA Code of Conduct, please email frenzies.support@ndreams.com using the support token number as the email subject. If a player does not have a support token number, please insert the relevant player’s user ID as the subject header.
Interactions with players outside of Frenzies EA
If a player violates the Frenzies EA Code of Conduct outside of Frenzies/off-platform (for example, on a different platform such as Discord), a player can either:
- notify that platform by using its moderation tools or report procedures
- report them to Meta by pressing the Meta button on their headset controllers or oculus icon on their right Touch controller to pull up the universal menu and then selecting ‘Report abuse’
- report them to nDreams by sending an email frenzies.support@ndreams.com – see ‘Submit evidence and/or provide additional information’ above
Children under the age of 13
In-game voice communication and hand gestures are automatically disabled for players using a Meta account registered for users under the age of 13 by Meta. It is not possible to change this setting.
