Chill Out by the Beach at Develop:Brighton With Near Light and nDreams!

Based right on the beautiful Brighton beachfront in the middle of a (hopefully) sunny July, it’s no surprise that Develop:Brighton is one of the most-loved events in the gamedev calendar.

We will be out in full force at the event once again, based on stand A64 in the free-to-attend expo, where we will have team members from across nDreams and our studios ready to chat about the many opportunities to work with us right now.

But how about when you need a little break from the hustle and bustle? Well, just pop over the road to our beachfront games industry mixer, where Near Light and nDreams will be hosting a free gathering open to any Develop:Brighton attendee.

Take a five-minute walk from the venue to join us for cooling refreshments on the house and casual gamedev chat with old friends and new, while getting to know our fast-growing Brighton studio Near Light.

 Near Light is the playful VR studio behind Shooty Fruity and Perfect, and the team is hard at work on something new right now – which, of course, we can't talk about just yet! The studio was acquired by nDreams in 2022 and we’re now taking the opportunity to host a comfortable daytime event that reflects our values, celebrates the Brighton games industry, and introduces us to great new people.

Whether you’re an industry veteran or seeking your first role in games, getting involved couldn’t be easier; just pop by our beautiful venue overlooking the beach and stay a while! We can’t wait to see you there.
